College and Career Center

The Clear Lake College and Career Center supports our Falcons in their pursuit of a high school diploma and beyond. Whether a student's post-graduation pursuits include college, a job in a technical field, or military enlisment, our Falcons are provided the opportunty to demonstrate their mastery of academic and technical skills before they graduate in order to support their life and learning goals. Whether our Falcons are headed to a 4-year university or a junior college, our goal is to make sure that every Falcon has the opportunity to demonstrate college readiness before they graduate from Clear Lake HS. Career & Technical Education

Clear Creek ISD offers robust Career & Technical Education (CTE) programming for students in ninth through twelfth grade. While reinforcing state and national academic standards, CTE courses provide exposure to and training in career areas of direct interest to our students. Military Career Pathway

CLHS supports our Falcons who are planning to serve our country by enlisting in the US Armed Forces. Each Wednesday, a recruiter is available on campus during Falcon Lunch to visit with interested students. 

Students interested in pursuing a career in the military will be required to take the Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). This exam includes tests in the following areas:

  • General Science
  • Arithmetic Reasoning
  • Word Knowledge
  • Paragraph Comprehension
  • Mathematics Knowledge
  • Electronics Information
  • Auto Information
  • Shop Information
  • Mechanical Comprehension
  • Assembling Objects

The ASVAB will be offered at Clear Lake HS on February 11, 2026, during the instructional day.
